Our current campsite location was less than ideal, so I suggested that we see if the sites at the top of the campground were available. Excellent suggestion if I do say so myself. We went from RV Park style camping to a secluded site with a beautiful view. Uh, yeah, this will do nicely.
We paid for the site through Sunday, tore down, dumped our tanks, relocated to the new spot and set up. We accomplished this within a one hour time frame. Not shabby.
Jack had called while we were tearing down, and as we were getting ready to call him back, he phoned us again. We made plans to head over to their house, hang out a bit, and accompany Jack on a drive-by tour of the area.
When we arrived, we finally got to meet Silly Moose. What a cutie pie.
Silly Goose, an amazingly extroverted and social child, was happy to ham it up for me to get a couple of shots. :)
There are cute kids, not cute kids, and adorable kids. Cute kids are just that - cute. Not cute kids are, well, just not cute (despite what their parents may think). Adorable kids are kids that, despite their looks, have amazing personalities that make them beautiful.
Silly Moose and Silly Goose are cute AND adorable kids. Cute and adorable kids are very dangerous to be around. They negatively influence our decision to not have kids. We MUST stand firm against their attack. We must remember that we could have kids that are not cute OR adorable. :) HA!
We walked across the street to the park and played at the playground for a few minutes before the girls had to go down for a nap. We left and Jack showed us the huge homes along Lake Liberty, where Bill spotted a bird of prey (a real one, not a Dakka).
We continued on and drove to Coeur d’Alene which is an extremely cute town – neat architecture and very quaint. Jack showed us around and took us to some of the stores he knew we would be interested in. I was happy to stop at the “Hippie Market” to check out the wonderful array of organic and all natural foods. Hallelujah! A town with an organic market – finally!
We swung by a couple other cool places and then headed back to the house for a bit. We went back to the campsite to let the Boys out and play stick awhile, then headed back over to J&T’s for dinner. As always, dinner at Jack’s was stellar. Rotisserie chicken smoked over cherry wood chips with Risotto and salad. Yum-O. We just hung out and chatted the rest of the night. It was nice to catch up with them. We headed back to the trailer after midnight and made plans to hang out the next day. Bill and I didn’t get to sleep till almost 2am. Looks like we’re sleeping in. ;P
